SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Modius Inc., a leading provider of data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software, today announced the release of OpenData^®Standard Edition, which offers unified monitoring and alarm management for all critical infrastructure equipment in the data center at very low cost to all enterprises.

The Modius OpenData Standard Edition is available to data center managers in enterprises, colocation centers, and other critical facilities for only $1,995 per year per user. Standard Edition allows data center managers to capture alarms from an unlimited number of devices and then direct them to a single management system. This unified approach simplifies data center management and dramatically lowers the risk of data center failure by eliminating the confusion of multiple unconnected alarm solutions. In addition to centralized alarm management, OpenData Standard Edition also allows operators to store and graph historical performance data, and then export it using standard data extraction tools.

For enterprise customers looking for more advanced data analytic capabilities, Modius also offers OpenData Enterprise Edition, which provides advanced analysis and visualization of performance data, as well as data integration across multiple sites. Standard Edition is fully upgradeable to Enterprise Edition, allowing customers to start with a limited deployment at low cost and then expand their coverage and functionality over time.
