PMP Recruitment, part of Cordant Group, has launched its state-of-the-art national recruitment hub and data centre, designed to support the further growth of its managed serviced business which currently turnovers £400m and supplies over 60,000 colleagues to its established customer base. The NRC will be home to over 100 candidate experience agents who will manage the company’s candidate pool and meet increasing client demand. PMP’s technology platforms and data analysis will also help to mitigate the uncertainties surrounding Brexit, and the changing recruitment landscape.
Based in Media City in Salford Quays, the National Resource Centre will be responsible for analysing client operational needs and matching that with right candidates, enabling the team to better forecast headcounts and place candidates in roles which best suits their situation, including part time or flexible contracts, location and work based learning opportunities. It will also enable the team to measure aspects such as demographics, conversion, absence and attrition, bringing increased business efficiencies through the centralisation of all recruitment campaigns.
Jamie Reynolds, Managing Director at PMP Recruitment, said: “The National Resource Centre will enable us to provide unrivalled candidate experience. In its first 10-week period alone the team made over 90,000 calls to candidates, booked 30,000 registrations for the branch network, and placed over 20,000 colleagues in roles with some of PMP’s largest clients. It is truly the beating heart of our business.”
